Existing wineries are fortunate to have legacy - an essential quality to communicate integrity to wine buyers. Legacy provides origin, history and an engaging story which is such a fundamental part of wine making.

How best to present each unique winery also depends to a large part, on the environment in which the wine is consumed or purchased. For a restaurant-only wine the brand name is everything, as the wine is ordered unseen, off a winelist.

Compare this with the harsh, competitive clutter of busy supermarket shelves. Here, a whole other set of design techniques must be deployed to achieve stand out while retaining appeal and key values.
